As the answer to each is no, then I have to assume that you placed the flag up (in place of the Australian flag you evidently find boring) purely to be provocative. You wanted to say to your co-workers "hey, screw you if you have a problem with a pariah-state that behaves in a WWII-fashion in the postmodern era. I dig them because they don't take shit... man."

You're a dolt Tex. A complete simpleton. You think that because Israeli puppet organisations in the west mutter all the right conservative blather that it makes them your friends. Your A1 reliable allies. Through thick and thin, and all that shit.

Ever hear of the words "self-interest" Texie? I don't think so. You see Tex, each country operates on it as a guiding principle, and those that don't tend to be naive geo-political constructs that don't hang around very long.

The Israelis (the people that you are not) do not have any special love for you. I know this because I lived among them for many years. They don't not give a rat's arse for anything (read: ANYTHING) that happens outside Israel. 9/11 was a minor blip on their telly screens.

The only exception to this is if something happens to Jews somewhere in the world, then they are all afluster.

Not great believers in the universality of man, the Israelis.

They are allied with the US (and to a much lesser extent, Australia) politically, and that involves precisely nothing. They give us no intelligence, and can't afford to give us anything else, as they spend all the billions they get in US aid on military & intelligence infrastructure (a lot of which then gets used to spy on the USA).

So Tex, in a nutshell, my point is that your blind, uncritical devotion to Israel is not only misplaced, it is counter-productive to my nation's interest.

Friends earn trust. What has Israel done to earn anyone's trust or allegiance? Jack shit. So until they do get off their asses for someone other than fellow members of "the Tribe", I suggest that we stay out of their affairs, and encourage them to stay out of ours.

Unless our affairs, and national interest, like our flag, are just too boring for you Tex.
