5th ALS Friedman Conference
28-30 April 2017
An invitation to the biggest liberty event of 2017
by John Humphreys
In 2013 just over 100 libertarians and liberty-curious people came together in Sydney for the first ALS Friedman Conference, and a tradition was started that has become an important part of the calendar for Australia’s pro-liberty community. Now in its forth year, the ALS Friedman Conference is bigger and better than ever, with speakers from Europe, America, and Asia joining the most prominent thinkers and activists from Australia.
We expect that this year there will be well over 300 people at the conference, which makes the ALS Friedman Conference the biggest liberty event in the Asia-Pacific region.
The ALS Dinner on Saturday April 29 will again be a celebration of the Australian liberty movement, with the announcement of the Libertarian of the Year, Young Libertarian of the Year, Libertarian Lifetime Achievement, and Libertarian Activist of the Year… as well as a dinner presentation from Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform. Not to be missed.
The speaker lineup is too long to do justice in a short letter, but some highlights include Duke University’s Mike Munger, Americans for Tax Reform’s Grover Norquist, Reason’s Nick Gillepsie, Australian Federal Senators David Leyonhjelm, Cory Bernardi & Malcolm Roberts, the Federal Member for Goldstein Tim Wilson, former UK Taxpayers’ Alliance Matthew Sinclair, and the Stossel Show’s Naomi Brockwell.
The ALS Friedman Conference is a great opportunity to learn from the best… but perhaps more importantly it is a chance to bring together libertarian thinkers, activists, and supporters for a couple of days of celebration and friendship. Book your tickets now, and come join the fun.
